Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in marketing analytics, programming, and marketing technology to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, integrating, analyzing, and automating data from various marketing and sales sources—including website traffic, digital campaigns, account-based marketing, CRM, and deal pipelines—to generate actionable insights and measure the impact of marketing on revenue.
This role is both strategic and technical, requiring hands-on programming skills and a deep understanding of modern marketing tools and customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Integration & Analysis:
Gather and synthesize data from multiple sources such as:
Website and visitor tracking tools (map to sources, campaigns, regions, events etc.)
Online campaigns (social media, email, content marketing initiatives and paid ads)
CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
Account-based interactions and lead engagement
Sales pipelines and deal closures
Normalize and map data across platforms to build a unified view of subscriber/customer journeys and marketing effectiveness.
2. Revenue Attribution & Performance Tracking:
Build and maintain models to attribute revenue and pipeline growth to specific marketing efforts.
Develop dashboards and reports that connect leads and accounts to conversions and revenue outcomes.
Track multi-touch attribution, marketing ROI, and channel performance metrics.
3. Reporting Automation & Calibration:
Develop scripts and workflows to automate data extraction, cleaning, and visualization.
Maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure real-time, accurate reporting.
Collaborate with marketing and sales stakeholders to calibrate dashboards for strategic decision-making.
4. Insights & Recommendations:
Translate raw data into strategic insights and performance narratives for senior stakeholders.
Identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities in the customer funnel and account engagement.
Recommend optimizations for targeting, campaign strategy, and resource allocation.
5. Collaboration & Governance:
Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align metrics and KPIs.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reporting outputs.
Help define best practices for data tracking, campaign tagging, and audience segmentation.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in marketing analytics or a data analyst role with exposure to digital marketing or ABM.
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or equivalent languages for data processing and automation.
Experience with marketing platforms (e.g., Campaign management, CMS, Social media, Email automation, Subscriber management etc.).
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio.
Familiarity with marketing attribution models (first-touch, last-touch, multi-touch).
Familiarity with CDPs, data warehouses, and APIs for cross-platform data extraction.
Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in B2B marketing or account-based marketing environments.
Understanding of customer journey mapping and conversion funnel analysis.
