Corporater is expanding its Trust Portal initiative, a next-generation web platform designed to deliver trust, transparency, and knowledge-sharing at scale. The Trust Portal will feature a Netflix-style catalog of curated content and subscription-based frameworks connecting organizations to valuable insights on governance, performance, risk, and compliance (GPRC).

We are now seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Bangalore-based team. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain data pipelines and architectures that ensure the Trust Portal’s AI, analytics, and content systems operate efficiently, reliably, and securely. You’ll work closely with our AI Engineers, Full-Stack Developers, and Product Team to create data flows that power intelligent recommendations, dashboards, and automation.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows to support analytics, AI models, and business intelligence within the Trust Portal.
• Develop data models and schemas optimized for performance and scalability.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers to prepare and serve datasets for machine learning, NLP, and recommendation systems.
• Integrate data flows with web applications, APIs, and MySQL back-end systems.
• Optimize storage and query performance for real-time or near real-time data needs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring reliability and uptime.
• Implement best practices for data governance, privacy, and security compliance.

What You Bring

• 3–6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL/MySQL.
• Experience with data pipeline tools and frameworks such as Airflow, dbt, or Kafka.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data services (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience working with APIs, JSON, and web-based integrations.
• Knowledge of data versioning, CI/CD for data, and containerization (Docker).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering clean, well-documented, and reproducible work.

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating with AI/ML pipelines or LLM-based applications.
• Familiarity with data lake / data warehouse architectures.
• Exposure to NLP preprocessing, feature engineering, or semantic search.
• Understanding of data privacy laws, security standards, or governance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.).
