As part of our growth journey, we are strengthening the Corporater Academy and are now looking for an Instructional Designer to join our Global Solution Centre in Bangalore.
About the Role
The Instructional Designer (ID) will play a key role in designing and building our high-quality, scalable learning programs for the Corporater Academy.
You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), delivery consultants, and product teams to transform complex product and domain knowledge into structured, engaging, and learner-centric training experiences.
The role involves designing learning journeys for multiple personas — customers, partners, and internal teams — across self-paced digital learning, blended programs, and instructor-led formats.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Design course structures, learning paths, and training curricula aligned with Corporater Academy objectives
Develop detailed storyboards, lesson plans, scripts, and modular training outlines
Apply adult learning principles and instructional frameworks (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, etc.)
Translate complex technical and product concepts into clear, outcome-driven learning content
Collaborate closely with SMEs to gather, validate, and refine learning material
Partner with eLearning Developers and Multimedia Specialists to produce engaging and interactive modules
Create assessments, knowledge checks, hands-on exercises, and case studies
Maintain content quality, version control, and alignment with ongoing product updates
Support LMS publishing and ensure structured delivery across learning platforms
Ensure learning content supports enablement, certification, and adoption goals
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Learning & Development, or a related field
3–6 years of experience in instructional design, corporate learning, or enablement
Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick Model)
Excellent storyboarding and content structuring capabilities
Proven ability to simplify complex, technical information
Experience working with SMEs and cross-functional global teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple learning projects simultaneously across time zones
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Camtasia, or similar
Background in SaaS, enterprise software, or technology-driven products
Understanding of UX principles applied to learning design
Experience with LMS platforms and SCORM/xAPI standards
Experience creating simulations, labs, or scenario-based learning
Exposure to GRC platforms or domains (e.g., risk, compliance, performance management)
Flexibility to collaborate with global teams across different time zones
